The par-71 layout measures 6,959 yards from the championship tees and features Crenshaw bentgrass putting surfaces. Bermuda grasses gently carpet the tees and the fairways and roughs are composed of native grasses such as Bahia, sweetgrass and spartina.
In creating a contrasting, yet complementing, course to the West Course, Fazio capitalized on the natural differences in the site utilizing elevation changes and framing the abundant vegetation. This is a traditional style course that encourages walking. Green-to-tee distances have been kept to a minimum, with no real estate behind any green.
